Make a difference in community health as a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC) at ParaMed. Provide exceptional care and promote evidence-based practices through both in-person and consultative approaches.
In this part time role, you will join ParaMed's dedicated nursing team. Your expertise will focus on wound assessment, continence management, and ostomy care. Your responsibilities also include educating peers, families, and patients while maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care for wound and ostomy management
• Educate nursing teams and patients about best practices
• Offer clinical consultation and support to colleagues
• Participate in clinical leadership opportunities
• Collaborate with various stakeholders for cohesive care
Requirements:
• NSWOC certification and relevant experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse
• Membership with Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy is a plus
• Experience in community care is advantageous
• Commitment to evidence-based practice
