The ElectionBuddy Career Opportunity - Associate Director of Professional Services
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and ambitious leader ready to take the next major step in their career. The Associate Director of Professional Services is a high-visibility, transition role designed specifically for a rising leader on the fast track.

This role is ideal for a CPA, MBA, or similar designated professional with public practice, supervisory, or consulting experience who has built a robust foundation in process execution and team leadership, and is now ready to step into an executive development track.

You will lead day-to-day operations and execution for services supporting Remote and Onsite Votes with Dedicated Setup and Scrutineering. You won’t just oversee operations: you’ll be on the ground coaching and mentoring a team of Services Experts, refining workflows, and mastering the intricacies of election governance.

ElectionBuddy’s Purpose - Accessible Democracy Around the World
ElectionBuddy is a simple to setup, high integrity cloud based voting platform that helps member-based organizations like professional associations, homeowner associations, unions,



universities and religious groups manage board elections, motion approvals, contract ratifications and bylaw amendments through its ability to send notice, verify credentials, record votes, tally results and share winners for both remote elections and onsite and virtual meetings So ElectionBuddy’s market is large, and demand for remote and onsite elections and meeting votes and continues to increase!

Key Accountabilities
The Associate Director of Professional Services will be accountable to:

Drive Team Leadership and Coaching : Manage, mentor, and guide day-to-day activities for the Services team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer obsession.

Oversee Service Delivery and Execution : Ensure high-accuracy delivery of remote and onsite election services, maintaining strict quality assurance, setup precision, and adherence to established SLAs.

Refine and Systematize Workflows : Partner with other leaders to document, standardize, and optimize core service processes and team handoffs.

Execute Onsite Client Engagements and Travel : Travel on-site to lead and support dedicated election setups, scrutineering, and customer governance events across North America and globally as required.

Execute Training and Skill Development : Facilitate onboarding modules for recent hires and lead ongoing educational rhythms and skill-building workshops for existing team members.

Customer Escalations and Guidance : Act as an operational escalation point, providing clear, practical guidance on regulatory compliance, election rules, and complex setup configurations.

Cross-Functional Workflow Execution : Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Onboarding, and Sales to ensure smooth customer handoffs, clear project boundaries, and seamless service execution.

Data-Driven Performance Monitoring : Monitor daily operational metrics, team utilization, setup accuracy, and implementation speed to identify friction and maintain high service quality.

Integrity and Compliance Enforcement : Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, voter confidentiality, and regulatory compliance across all managed elections.

Candidate Profile: Skills and Qualifications

3 to 5+ years of progressive professional experience, including at least 1-2 years in a direct supervisory, managerial, or team lead role.

A CPA designation with public practice experience, or a management consulting designation and experience, in supervisory roles.

Passion for building and coaching teams that consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences and measurable outcomes.





A strong desire to receive active executive coaching and mentorship, with the explicit ambition to step up to a full Director-level position.

A hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.

A strong track record of delivery excellence with a focus on customer retention, service quality, and long-term customer success.

Proven ability to shape customer expectations and guide decisions through clear, expert advice that drives alignment and strong outcomes.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and unwavering personal integrity, with the ability to inspire trust, accountability, and high performance.

Experience in designing, documenting, and executing scalable processes and new service opportunities while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Metrics & KPI experience, with a solid grasp of data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Experience in auditing, compliance, examination, and risk assessment, with a keen eye for identifying gaps and opportunities.

High ethical standards and a deep commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and data accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Strong decision-making and creative problem-solving skills, particularly in complex or high-stakes scenarios.

Familiarity with examining bylaws, statutes, or contracts.

Curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to learn the intricacies of elections, meeting governance, and evolving technologies!

Compensation
$80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Location
We currently have team members located in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia, USA, the Philippines, and Brazil, and continue to add individuals across time zones to meet our worldwide demand. Enjoy a flexible mix of virtual work from your home office and on‑site work. Because elections are live, mission-critical events, flexibility during peak delivery periods (including occasional evening or weekend coverage) is required, along with willingness to travel to customer locations as needed. Bonus: Being near a major international airport makes your adventures (and work travel) even easier!
