Reporting to the Information Security Officer, the Security and Compliance Analyst provides support for MASC security governance, compliance, and vulnerability management activities. The position assists with audit evidence collection, coordination of security and control reviews, and routine review and tracking of server and infrastructure security findings. The role helps ensure security and compliance activities are documented, tracked, and completed in a consistent and timely manner.

Essential Qualifications Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience in IT operations, System Administration, Service Desk,
or Security Support role.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, or compliance concepts.
Experience with IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, networking, patching, and vulnerability management.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to organize information, maintain accurate records, identify gaps, and effectively follow up with stakeholders to obtain required information, evidence, approvals, and action item status
Ability to review and communicate technical or compliance-related information, organize remediation activities, and appropriately esc...
Ability to maintain accuracy and pay attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Desired Qualifications Experience supporting cybersecurity, access management, vulnerability remediation, audit compliance, and security documentation is an asset.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, cloud services, and security frameworks is an asset.
Knowledge of IT general controls, ITIL, system hardening, patch management, and security configuration standards is an asset.
Security, privacy, governance, or Microsoft fundamentals certification is an asset.
Ability to communicate verbally in both official languages (French and English), is an asset.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Must possess a valid driver?s licence, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
SALARY: $57,969 to $73,307 per annum
