Lead Speech, Language, and Communication services at Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) as a Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert leadership to enhance student communication and accessibility.
Reporting to the Manager, you will oversee Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs). Your expertise will drive equitable and evidence-informed practices to foster student engagement and well-being. This role emphasizes multi-tiered support frameworks and the implementation of inclusive communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership to SLPs and CDAs
• Ensure compliance with CASLPO standards
• Coordinate equitable service delivery across schools
• Lead departmental initiatives for continuous improvement
• Collaborate on inclusive learning environments
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Minimum five years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
• Solid understanding of AAC and MTSS
• Commitment to equity and inclusion practices
