Acuren is currently seeking a Visual Inspectors to support upcoming turnaround work at our client site IOR in Cold Lake . In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience, work alongside skilled professionals, and support projects that prioritize safety, quality, and reliability.

Position Summary:

Start Date: August 28, 2026 to September 24, 2026

Location: IOR, Cold Lake, AB

Rotation: 6/1, 12 hour shifts

Prefer candidates to be located within AB

Responsibilities

Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship

Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation

Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection

Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Requirements

API 510, 570, IBPV (required)

Ability to verify and accept material

Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong organizational and time management skills

Solid written and verbal communications skills

Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
