Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Manager, Technology Strategy to partner with SMEs across all functional groups to gather requirements, understand processes, and design solutions that address diverse business needs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

Source-to-Pay Technology Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, plan, and execute integrated Source-to-Pay strategies, with a focus on Procurement Intake & Orchestration processes.

Initiative Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic engagements, ensuring alignment with technology enablement and change management best practices.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals.

Process Design & Optimization: Design and refine end-to-end procurement processes, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with SMEs across all functional groups to gather requirements, understand processes, and design solutions that address diverse business needs.

Leadership & Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with Procurement, Business Units,



and cross-functional teams to drive successful technology adoption and alignment.

Must Have Skills:

Proven experience in Procurement S2P Technologies including Intake & Orchestration tool and process design.

Robust expertise in technology enablement and change management.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, gather requirements, and document processes effectively.

Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel: pivots, complex logic, lookups).

Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Courage to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

Experience with Procurement or Source-to-Pay Solutions (Ivalua and Coupa)

Product Management

Education:

MBA and/or similar discipline with Technology or Analytics focus

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.
