Our client is looking for a Family Law Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join their Vancouver team. This is a great chance for someone with 1-2+ years of family law or litigation experience who is looking for a long-term role with a collaborative team, strong work-life balance, and opportunities to grow professionally. The position offers a hybrid schedule, working approximately 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
Compensation
$50,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities
Support two experienced family law lawyers with day-to-day file management
Assist with preparation of legal documents, court forms, and correspondence
Help manage family law litigation files and related deadlines
Assist with matters before the BC Supreme Court and Provincial Court
Maintain organized and accurate client files
Communicate with clients, lawyers, and other members of the legal team
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Qualifications




1-2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
Family law experience preferred; litigation experience will also be considered
Familiarity with BC Supreme Court and Provincial Court Rules and procedures
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Clear and professional communication skills
Team-oriented, personable, and willing to contribute to the broader team
