We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Technician with experience servicing Caterpillar (CAT) equipment to join our service team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty machinery while ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on Caterpillar (CAT) equipment
Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems
Service hydraulic systems, braking systems, and steering components
Troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions components
Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service software




Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections
Conduct equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and component replacements
Complete repairs according to Caterpillar manufacturer specifications
Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
Requirements Experience as a Heavy Duty Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or Equipment Technician
Experience working with Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery
Strong diesel engine and hydraulic diagnostic skills
Experience using electronic diagnostic tools and scan equipment
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Valid driver’s license
Own professional tools required
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Caterpillar engines and heavy equipment systems
Previous dealership or heavy equipment service center experience
Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification
Red Seal certification (preferred)
