Senior Manager Technology Strategy
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3 days on site)
Pay Rate : $71.05/hr - $83.89/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months with possibility for extension
We at Raise are hiring a Senior Manager Technology Strategy for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.
Responsibilities:
Source-to-Pay Technology Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, plan, and execute integrated source-to-pay strategies, with a focus on procurement intake & orchestration processes.
Initiative Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic engagements, ensuring alignment with technology enablement and change management best practices.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals.
Process Design & Optimisation: Design and refine end-to-end procurement processes, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with SMEs across all functional groups to gather requirements, understand processes, and design solutions that address diverse business needs.
Leadership & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with Procurement, Business Units, and cross-functional teams to drive successful technology adoption and alignment.
Must have skills:
(10+ years total experience preferred)
5+ years of hands-on deployment experience.
Hands-on experience deploying and integrating S2P/procurement tools to orchestrate end-to-end procurement workflows in a large organization.
Experience with Procurement or Source-to-Pay Solutions (SAP, Coupa)
Tools experience is more significant
Proven experience introducing and successfully deploying new procurement technologies in previous roles.
Strong expertise in technology enablement and change management.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, gather requirements, and document processes effectively.
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel: pivots, complex logic, lookups).
Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Courage to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
Nice to have skills:
Experience with Procurement or Source-to-Pay Solutions (Ivalua)
Financial Industry is a nice-to-have, not mandatory.
Product Management
MBA and/or similar discipline with Technology or Analytics focus
