Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (10+ years) to build and maintain automated API/integration test suites using Playwright, Postman, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile QE practices- 17134

Join a digital initiative supporting Unified Advisor Experience capabilities across electronic tracking (eTrack) and electronic documents (eDocs). This role focuses on automated API and integration testing, end‑to‑end data validation, regression testing, and entitlement/access‑control validation across Salesforce, Alfresco, and advisor portal integrations. The position operates within an Agile squad partnering closely with backend developers to support parallel test coverage across multiple application streams.

Location: Toronto or Waterloo - Hybrid 3 days a week on site

Duration: 6 months (chance of extension)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Must‑Have Skills

API / integration test automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent)

End‑to‑end data validation across integrated source systems and front‑end API (UI) contracts





Regression test design and execution within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, PR‑based workflow)

Agile QE practices and defect lifecycle management

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Performance/load testing experience

Experience testing Salesforce or document‑management (Alfresco) integrations

Financial services / banking domain testing experience

Responsibilities

Build automated API and integration test suites supporting eTrack and eDocs streams

Validate advisor‑facing data and application or transaction lifecycle status across integrated systems

Verify integrations between Salesforce, Alfresco, and advisor portal front‑end services

Execute end‑to‑end data validation, metadata tagging verification and entitlement testing

Run regression testing within CI/CD‑integrated automated test suites

Manage defects through the defect lifecycle within Agile delivery squads

Partner with backend developers to support parallel test coverage initiatives
