Collins Aerospace seeks a night shift Assembly Technician responsible for assembling and testing landing gear components. Ideal candidates will have landing gear assembly experience or three years in a manufacturing environment. You’ll also be involved in hydraulic and electrical functional tests, assembly process adherence, and supporting safety and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble landing gear shock struts and components
• Perform replacements and repairs per engineering instructions
• Conduct electrical and hydraulic functional tests
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of assembly experience in aerospace
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to follow assembly instructions accurately
• Eligible to work in Canada under ITAR
