Contribute to strategic planning as a Senior Material Logistics Agent. This role focuses on purchasing, forecasting, and coordinating logistics functions within a manufacturing setting.
Reporting to management, you will handle comprehensive materials planning and purchasing responsibilities. Key activities include building manpower forecasts, production plans, and managing inventory policies. You will lead logistics actions, potentially assigning tasks to team members while ensuring alignment with cost management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish plant-wide manpower forecasts and production schedules
• Develop “what if” scenario plans for senior management
• Assist in defining inventory and build policies
• Oversee and coordinate actions of Material Logistics agents
• Conduct root cause analysis for logistics and inventory issues
Requirements:
• Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
• APICS or PMAC certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years in a computerized manufacturing setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
