Join an industry leader as an Environmental Regulatory Advisor in Edmonton, Alberta. This intermediate, onsite contract role offers competitive pay and the chance to support the Strathcona Refinery.

This position assists the Strathcona Refinery’s environmental team in meeting regulatory compliance and environmental issues. You will work closely with Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) and the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) while supporting the site’s Regulatory Compliance Assessment. Ideal candidates will possess solid environmental skills and manage workload independently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support on regulatory compliance issues
• Support Regulatory Compliance Assessment process and follow-ups




• Review and update internal management systems regarding legislation
• Develop and implement environmental standards across the site
• Manage environmental projects and reporting requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• 5 to 10 years of regulatory experience
• Working knowledge of AEPA and AER requirements
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
