Hazelwood Finance, a division of The Hazelwood Group, is looking for a full-time dependable Bookkeeper with 1–3 years of experience to provide versatile support across a variety of accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and ready to step in wherever they’re needed.

Compensation

$27.00 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do

You’ll support a variety of day-to-day bookkeeping tasks while learning and growing your skills. Working with the accounting team, you’ll help with:

Processing invoices, payments and customer billings

Tracking receipts,



deposits and company credit-card transactions

Assisting with bank and account reconciliations

Entering transactions and maintaining accurate records

Supporting tax remittances, month-end and year-end preparation

Keeping financial files organized and up to date

Responding to routine accounting questions and supporting the team with coverage as needed

What You Bring:

1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting or related administrative experience

Basic understanding of accounting principles, with a willingness to keep learning

Experience with QuickBooks Online or another accounting system

Comfort using Microsoft Excel and other common office tools

Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

A reliable, adaptable and team-oriented approach

Clear communication and a willingness to ask questions

Ability to handle financial information with care and integrity

Initiative, curiosity and an interest in growing your bookkeeping skills

Experience with reconciliations, invoicing or payables is an asset, but training and support will be provided
