Reporting to the Food Services Supervisor, the Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation and service of safe, high-quality food to patients.
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Food Handler Certificate
Ability to follow written and verbal job instructions (to be tested)
Ability to follow basic arithmetic calculations (to be tested if necessary)
Ability to demonstrate correct lifting and carrying techniques of items weighing in range of 10-50 lbs (to be tested)
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to meet Public Health standards, Food Premises - Health Protection and Promotion Act related to safe food handling
pulling and pushing of retherming & support carts)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work all shifts
Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
