At WSP, we are seeking a dedicated Archaeology Field Technician II to assist in various archaeological fieldwork stages, including Stage 2 surveys and Stage 4 excavations. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and enjoy working as part of a cohesive team. This is a unique chance to contribute to impactful projects while adhering to safety standards in diverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct archaeological fieldwork under Field Supervisor guidance
• Assist in site-specific assessments during projects
• Maintain high standards of ethical behavior and safety
• Collaborate with other technicians in the field
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
• Willingness for physically demanding tasks outdoors
• Valid Ontario driver's license and clean abstract
• Ability to travel for out-of-town assignments
• Knowledge of archaeological artifacts is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field considered an asset
