The Upper Grand District School Board is searching for a Long Term Occasional Teacher for Chemistry, effective from September 2, 2026, to February 2, 2027. You will oversee one section, providing quality education in the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will possess senior Chemistry qualifications and demonstrate a commitment to student achievement in line with Ontario Ministry of Education standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality educational instruction in Chemistry
• Support student achievement and well-being




• Collaborate with school staff and administration
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning setting
• Provide continuous assessment and feedback on student progress

Requirements:
• Qualifications in Senior Chemistry education
• Experience in teaching and managing classroom dynamics
• Two professional supervisory references required
• Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment
