Entry Test Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (No mandatory days but if required two days in office)

Pay Rate: $40.44/hr - $46.75/hr

Contract Length: 8 Months

We at Raise are hiring an Entry Test Analyst for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities

Review requirements and develop detailed test scenarios and test casesduring UAT and E2E Test Phases

Execute functional, integration, and regression testing

Log, track, and retest defects

Collaborate with business and technology teams to validate expected outcomes

Provide testing status updates and support release activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end testing and successful project delivery

How You’ll Succeed

Create and Execute Test Cases with Quality

Identify defects early and thoroughly through detailed analysis, risk-based testing, and solid attention to functional, integration, and regression impacts

Use sound judgment to assess risk by prioritizing critical defects, understanding downstream impacts

Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to testing processes, tools, automation opportunities, and quality standards

Communicate clearly and proactively by providing transparent updates on testing status, defect trends, risks, and readiness to stakeholders at all levels

Support delivery in fast-paced environments by managing competing priorities, adapting to change, and maintaining quality under tight timelines

Must Have Requirement

3+ years of QA experience supporting technology projects.

Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices.

Hands-on experience with functional, integration,



and regression testing, including defect management.

Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Proficiency with HP ALM and Jira.

Experience with test automation and software process improvement.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Cheque Processing (E.g. Day 1, Day 2, RDC)

Retail banking experience

Knowledge of automation tool , AI Utilization for Testing Deliverables
