We are seeking a hands‑on, results‑driven Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations and logistics activities within a fast‑paced manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for the efficient movement of materials and finished products, inventory accuracy, domestic and international shipments, and the leadership of a small warehouse team.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced in manufacturing and cross‑border logistics. This individual will play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, delivering excellent customer service, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics and Customer Shipments

Coordinate all outbound customer shipments, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Manage shipment bookings, transportation arrangements, and required logistics documentation.

Monitor On‑Time Delivery (OTD) performance and ensure customer commitments and shipping deadlines are met.

Communicate with customers to obtain or clarify shipping, customs, import, and delivery requirements.

Prepare and maintain export and compliance documentation, including:

Packing lists

Certificates of Origin, including CUSMA documentation

Other required shipping and compliance documents

Assist with post‑import matters, including duty disputes, shipment returns, and customs‑related issues.

Inbound Logistics and Receiving

Partner with Procurement and suppliers to coordinate inbound shipments and material deliveries.

Ensure incoming inventory is received promptly and accurately recorded within the ERP system.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics partners to optimize service levels and transportation costs.





Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers to improve logistics performance and support business growth.

Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management

Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, material handling, inventory control, kitting, staging, and shipping.

Execute and oversee cycle‑counting programs to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.

Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure warehouse materials, equipment, and work areas remain organized, maintained, and operationally efficient.

Promote and enforce safety procedures and applicable regulatory compliance standards.

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, material flow, productivity, and overall efficiency.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead, coach, and support warehouse employees in achieving performance, quality, safety, and service objectives.

Establish daily priorities, assign responsibilities, and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

Partner with Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, and Manufacturing teams to support organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

Three to six years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.

At least one to two years of supervisory, team‑lead,



or people‑management experience.

Previous experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.

Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and export compliance requirements.

Experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, and Dangerous Goods documentation.

Working knowledge of customs regulations and cross‑border logistics requirements.

Experience coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and transportation providers.

Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory‑management processes.

Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a quick‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

APICS certification, such as CLTD, CSCP, or an equivalent credential.

Experience leading continuous improvement or warehouse process‑optimization initiatives.

Knowledge of inventory‑control best practices and logistics performance metrics, including On‑Time Delivery.

Experience supporting cross‑border shipments within a manufacturing environment.
