We have an exciting secondment opportunityfor 1 year as a Labour Ward Co-ordinator.

You will join our existing team of coordinators and work across our two sites, this will help to develop your skill set and introduce you to the role of Labour Ward Coordinator

As a Midwife Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of the activity on the labour ward.

Leading and managing the team, providing expert clinical midwifery care.

Setting and monitoring performance standards for both activity and staff,



ensuring a high-performing and supportive working environment.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure secure, compassionate and effective care for all women.

Offering expert leadership advice to enhance midwifery practice.

Taking a proactive role in the development of midwifery within the unit and beyond.
