Our client is looking for a Facilities Coordinator (Office Ops Coordinator) to join their team for a 2-3 month contract. Perfect person for this role has experience in facilities coordination, office moves, and is capable of handling physical office tasks.
What's in it for you:
$28.00 - $30.00 hourly
Location: downtown Calgary
Contract duration: 2.5 to 3 months (may be a chance of extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, full time onsite
Responsibilities Planning and coordinating office moves
Managing day-to-day facilities requests
Liaising with vendors and service providers
Conducting regular floor inspections to identify repair and maintenance issues and ensuring they are addressed promptly
Assisting with physical tasks as required,
including moving bins and other office-related items
Requirements Proven ability to coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and building management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams
Comfortable performing occasional physical tasks, including moving office supplies, bins, furniture, and equipment
Ability to walk office floors regularly to conduct inspections and assess maintenance needs
Must be able to lift up to 25-30 lbs as required
2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, office administration, or workplace services
Experience coordinating office moves, workstation setups, and space planning activities
Experience managing facilities service requests and prioritizing competing demands in a quick‑paced office environment
