Manitoulin Transport is located in Melfort, SK, and is currently expanding to support the growing Agriculture and Mining sectors in northern Saskatchewan. Located 2 hours northeast of Saskatoon, with small-town charm and essential services.
Job Description
- We are seeking a Class 1 driver for our Melfort location. The ideal candidate will be providing service to a well-established customer base.
- Able to plan, load, and unload trailers, and use an electronic handheld device to record damages and shortages.
- Pick up and deliver freight and use a handheld to obtain customer signatures.
- Monday to Friday schedule with an average of 10‑hour days.
- This is an incentive‑based paying location. Along with a great compensation package, we offer benefits, profit sharing, and a uniform allowance.
Qualifications
- Class 1 license required.
- Ability to complete proper pre/post & inter trips.
- Knowledge of ELD (Electronic Logging Devices).
- Knowledge of hours of service.
- Knowledge of load securement TDG & WHMIS.
- Physically fit.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Must be reliable, dependable, and hard‑working.
- Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work‑related references.
