The ideally qualified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will support the Lead Early Childhood Educator (LECE) in implementing the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework. A minimum of three years of experience and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education are essential. The ECE will foster collaboration to create fun, engaging learning opportunities that promote holistic child development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with LECE to create engaging learning environments
• Support children's exploration and social interactions
• Use evidence-based practices for holistic child development
• Implement Nova Scotia's early learning curriculum
• Participate actively in the school early childhood team
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum three years working with preschool children
• In-depth knowledge of play-based pedagogy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid Standard First Aid and Food Handlers Certificate
