Contribute to transformative health research as a part time Research Assistant in the Murray Lab at UBC, supporting grant-funded projects. You will play a crucial role in advancing studies that impact women's health.
This Research Assistant role in the Department of Medicine at UBC requires approximately 20 hours of work weekly. You will assist with data management, ethics applications, and collaboration on projects addressing infectious diseases. Your work will support the efforts of Dr. Melanie Murray and drive meaningful results in the field of women’s health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain research records and databases accurately
• Prepare ethics applications and renewals
• Assist in managing project deadlines and study materials
• Conduct literature reviews for ongoing research
• Organize meetings both in-person and virtually
Requirements:
• High school graduation with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong initiative and self-directed work habits
• Effective communication skills in written and verbal formats
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Familiarity with MS Office and research environments preferred
