Employment Readiness Program Manager
ABOUT MISSION POSSIBLE Mission Possible is a non-profit organization and social enterprise located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. We support individuals challenged by homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental illness, and other barriers to employment to achieve a renewed sense of dignity and purpose through meaningful work. Through our Employment Readiness Program and our social enterprises, we equip our program participants with the skills, confidence, and support they need to rejoin the workforce and rebuild a self-sustaining livelihood for themselves.

ABOUT THE JOB Position type:
Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week; hybrid (4 days in office/1 day remote)
Salary: $58,000-62,400 commensurate with experience Key Advantages:

Legally allowed to work in BC
A vulnerable sector criminal record check is required for this position
Working Conditions: This role is team-based. The MOM will report to the Director of Programs and will supervise assigned coordinators on the program team. Most work will take place in MP’s main office, and visiting of other organizations and events will be required for outreach and networking.

The Program Manager will:
Manage the effective coordination, capacity planning,
and program delivery of the ERP with both the program and social enterprise teams
Lead the case management system, including software and caseload assignments
Oversee the coordination of partnership development with organizations for program referrals and wrap-around services
Manage the intake process to ensure that the program team stays on track to achieve the organization’s social impact targets
Ensure continuous improvement of program processes and policies to provide quality experience to participants and address gaps in service delivery
Oversee the development of work readiness training and wraparound services provided onsite
Develop and strengthen relationships with partner organizations, agencies, and social service providers to promote and enhance the ERP
Follow up with participants to address issues regarding program policy and expectations in order to hold participants capable at all times
Manage data collection for the ERP to ensure proper reporting and effective decision making
Conduct regular coaching sessions with a caseload of 12 participants
Ensure that participants’ accomplishments are being celebrated and transitions to work outside of MP are being incentivized
Facilitate workshops, information sessions, and outreach events when appropriate
Provide leadership, management, and ensure accountability for all direct reports utilizing EOS tools and processes
Conduct weekly meetings, quarterly conversations and annual reviews with direct reports
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Programs
ABOUT YOU: Our ideal candidate has:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills
Project/program management and evaluation experience
Creative problem-solving skills
A supportive and empowering leadership style
1-3 years experience with program development in the non-profit sector
Experience working directly with individuals who experience barriers to employment is an asset
