Stantec is looking for an Intermediate Coastal Engineer to join our Ontario team, working remotely from British Columbia. Bring your skills in hydrodynamic modeling and coastal engineering to impactful projects that prioritize safety and sustainability.

As an Intermediate Coastal Engineer, you’ll contribute to hydrotechnical and hydraulic projects within a dynamic Water Resources Technical Team. Collaborating with top environmental professionals, you'll apply your knowledge of hydrologic principles and modeling tools to support resilient infrastructure and environmental assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop hydrodynamic models using MIKE 3 or Telemac
• Conduct assessments of coastal hazards for infrastructure projects




• Prepare detailed technical reports for field investigations
• Support proposal development and project management tasks
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams for project success

Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Engineering with hydrodynamics focus
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Proficient in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS
• Valid G-class driver’s license required
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
