WSP is seeking a Senior Archaeologist to lead impactful projects in Northern Ontario. You will oversee archaeological assessments while respecting cultural landscapes and collaborating with Indigenous nations. Your expertise will guide multidisciplinary teams and directly influence heritage stewardship and community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead archaeological assessments meeting MCM Standards
• Manage archaeological project scope, budgets, and timelines
• Provide leadership in health, safety, and risk management
• Review technical archaeological reports for quality standards
• Mentor junior archaeologists and foster teamwork
Requirements:
• Skilled license with the MCM
• 10+ years in consulting archaeology, 5+ in Northern Ontario
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of current MCM Standards and guidelines
• Valid Canadian driver’s license with security clearance
