Become a Victim Services Navigator with the Department of Justice in Pictou, NS. Provide crucial support to crime victims navigating the justice system while ensuring their rights are upheld.

This full-time role involves delivering the Provincial Victim Services Program, connecting victims directly with support and justice personnel. You'll play a vital part in helping victims prepare for court, access counseling, and manage their sensitive cases. Your responsibilities will include maintaining confidential records, analyzing victim needs, and collaborating with various agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver the Provincial Victim Services Program
• Prepare and accompany clients for court sessions
• Assist in submitting Victim Impact Statements




• Maintain accurate case management records
• Coordinate with justice personnel and community organizations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Three years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with the Criminal Justice system
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic approach and sound judgment
