Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused, and highly motivated IT Technician to support and maintain the organization’s technology infrastructure. The IT Technician will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and work closely with staff across all departments to ensure reliable, secure, and effective technology services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.

Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Monitor and maintain network connectivity, wireless systems, and related infrastructure.

Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.

Assist with deployment and maintenance of servers, cloud services, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions.

Document technical procedures, configurations, support activities, and asset inventories.

Participate in technology projects, upgrades, system implementations, and equipment installations.

Provide excellent customer service while ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.





REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems Technology, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Robust knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint management.

Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network-related issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service.

Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are considered assets.

Operational understanding of Anishinaabemowin is an asset
