Build trusted partnerships that help shape public sector projects across the North of England.
NPA (Northern Procurement Alliance) is part of LHC Procurement Group, one of the UK's leading not-for-profit procurement organisations supporting the public sector. For over 60 years, we have partnered with local authorities, housing providers and public sector organisations to deliver high-quality construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects that create lasting benefits for communities and improve lives.
We are now looking for a Client Support Officer to join our team. In this relationship-focused role, you'll work closely with housing providers, local authorities and other public sector organisations, helping them access procurement solutions, deliver successful projects and maximise community impact. You'll build long-term partnerships, support clients throughout their project journey and play a key role in driving engagement across the region.
This is a hybrid role where you are expected to work in the NPA office, travel to client sites and home.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector clients, becoming a trusted point of contact throughout their procurement and project journey
Support clients in identifying the right procurement solutions and help maximise the value they achieve from LHCPG frameworks
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery and excellent customer experiences
Identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships and contribute to regional growth targets
Manage client activity, opportunities and project pipelines using CRM systems and internal reporting tools
Promote social value and community benefits through the projects and partnerships you support
About You
You're a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders and developing trusted partnerships. Customer-focused and proactive, you're motivated by delivering great outcomes and taking the time to understand client needs. You'll be a collaborative team player with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Bring
Experience in account management, client support, customer success, relationship management or business development within a fast-paced corporate environment
A track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
A commercially aware mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and add value for clients
Knowledge of procurement, construction, housing or the public sector would be advantageous, but not essential
Why join us?
At NPA, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team where trust, resilience and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. As part of LHCPG, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to communities across the UK, while enjoying a positive culture, opportunities for growth and a range of benefits designed to help you thrive both inside and outside of work.
