Description As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients (clients, resident), develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress.



You will be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. You will collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments.

Required Qualifications Active or eligible registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA).
Additional Required Qualifications Current BCLS-HCP Certification, including expiration date. Minimum of 6 months Tertiary Critical Care experience within the last 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications Pediatric experience.
Level III NICU experience.
Formal preceptor training.
Current PALS certification including expiration date.
Current NRP certification including expiration date.
Team lead experience.
Commitment to a multidisciplinary committee within the past 2 years.
Experience with rapid response team/Transport/ECLS.
