Role Description
This is a full time on-site position for a Boring Mill Operator based in Windsor, ON. The Boring Mill Operator will be responsible for operating and supervising boring mills for precision machining tasks, inspecting components for quality assurance, and maintaining machinery through routine preventive maintenance. The role involves following technical blueprints, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with other team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Milling and Machining to perform precision work and interpret technical drawings

Knowledge of Powermill

Experience in Quality Control to ensure adherence to specifications and standards

Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance to maintain and inspect equipment for efficient operation

Ability to provide and receive Training related to machine tools and safety practices

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Relevant technical training or certification in machining or related field

Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is considered an asset

Day shift (no afternoons or nights unless emergency)
