Position Description
Assist in obtaining, evaluating, and coordinating project engineering information needed to construct project; assigned to Field Operations team on jobsite.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementation of site safety program and orientation to ensure Trade compliance with safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.

Maintain document control process and distribution of current contract documents.

Assist in review of contract drawings, specifications and shop drawings to understand and identify proper coordination and installation.

Review all work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within accepted tolerances.

Provide continuous review for compliance of contract documents.

Assist in review and preparation of project As-Builts.

Assist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR).

Attend project daily huddles to understand daily project activities and attend Trade meetings to collect feedback on schedule activities.

Assist with implementation of Last Planner System, Pull Planning sessions, and Constraint logs.

Maintain Weekly Work Plan (WWP) and Percent Plan Complete (PPC), and track counter measures for identified variances.

Assist in development of jobsite-specific Quality Control (QC) plan.

Conduct material inventory on deliveries and ensure materials reflect approved shop drawings.

Review Testing and Inspection requirements and coordinate Testing & Inspections with consultants and third-party inspectors. Log actions and results, distribute accordingly, conduct follow-ups, and closeout items.

Log project deficiencies and observations in Procore and distribute accordingly.

Review drawings and designs, elevate conflicts and discuss with trades, and assist with developments of solutions and Requests for Information (RFI).

Assist with coordination of work on jobsite with Trades.





Take jobsite photos throughout project.

Prepare and issue weekly reports to stakeholders.

Assist in conducting QC inspections to ensure installations are per contract documents and in accordance with approved shop drawings.

Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with formal engineering or architectural training or equivalent building construction experience, required

Internship/Co-op experience in construction, highly desired

Basic understanding of scheduling programs, preferred

Basic understanding ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule

Familiar with lean methodology

Must have good interpersonal skills with desire to expand construction knowledge and learning

Qualified verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer skills and Microsoft suite of applications

and occasionally lift and/or move up to 23 kg.

places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in the work environment is
usually moderate to loud. The employee is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and
applicable laws.
