About KGMS
Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School (KGMS) is an independent, co-educational school in North Vancouver serving neurodiverse students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. As one of British Columbia’s few designated Special Education Schools, KGMS welcomes students from across the Lower Mainland with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other diverse learning profiles.

We follow the BC Ministry of Education curriculum while adapting and differentiating instruction to meet each student’s individual learning needs. Guided by Universal Design for Learning principles, our educational approach incorporates experiential learning, inquiry-based instruction, and social-emotional learning. Our dedicated and collaborative team is committed to creating an inclusive environment where students feel understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with ADP WorkforceNow

HR knowledge or experience would be considered an asset

Proficiency in MS Office with Strong Excel skills is required

Prior experience working with Sage or similar accounting software

Strong analytical skills,



superior attention to detail and accuracy

Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a deadline-sensitive environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Understanding of internal controls

2 years of payroll experience and payroll certification (PCP certification or equivalent)

Ability to commute to North Vancouver

Salary: $65,000 – $78,000 based on experience
