Shape electrical systems with WSP as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer supporting mining and industrial projects. Utilize your expertise to design and implement reliable power systems across Canada.

This role is vital for WSP’s Resources subsector, which focuses on supporting clients in the mining and heavy industrial sectors. Located in Vancouver, BC, Northern Ontario, or St John's NL, you’ll work on both current and brownfield projects, enhancing project performance from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical power distribution and control systems
• Conduct power system studies using ETAP or EasyPower
• Prepare switchgear, MCCs, and transformer specifications




• Oversee design accuracy through field evaluations
• Mentor junior engineering staff to build talent

Requirements:
• 5+ years of electrical engineering design experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC
• Strong knowledge of CSA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Experience in hazardous classification environments
• Valid driver’s license to access industrial sites
