Build the technology behind the world's biggest events
Picture this: registration opens for a major conference, and thousands of people hit our systems within minutes. When an event goes live, we're the mission-critical piece, and we love that pressure. Streampoint Solutions powers registration, housing, marketing, lead capture, attendee engagement, and onsite operations for some of the most complex, high-stakes events on the planet, serving clients and attendees across multiple countries.

That global reach means privacy and security aren't an afterthought; they're built into how we think from day one. We handle sensitive attendee data across different regions and regulatory environments, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Right now, we're rebuilding our platform from the ground up on a modern, cloud-native architecture, and it's a great time to jump in. We're looking for a senior engineer who wants to own real systems, solve problems that actually matter, and help shape what we build next.

The opportunity
You'll help us build Streampoint’s group of products; our registration platform that enables us to place badges on thousands of attendees quickly and efficiently and get attendees to their hotel rooms across dozens of properties for a single event. This is a hands-on Intermediate Software Developer role, sitting right at the intersection of design, development, and product, and the problems here are the good kind of hard:

Keeping live room inventory rock-solid across thousands of hotel properties as rooms are booked, changed, and released — the numbers have to be right, every single time.

Navigating the complexity of diverse registration requirements across a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Every client runs events with different requirements all on shared infrastructure and platforms. The challenge is keeping the platforms consistent and performant at scale, regardless of how many different ways it's being used at once.

Building live, real-time integrations with major hotel reservation systems , where every guest booking has to land in exactly the right place and show up in their account, no exceptions.

Handling massive surges the moment registration or housing opens for a major event, thousands of transactions happen at once, with zero room for error.

Modernizing the platform into cloud-native services to handle a high volume of requests and deliver on the performance capabilities that great cloud architecture brings us

If you love pulling a system apart to really understand what makes it tick, and you'd rather own the outcome than just close the ticket, this role will keep you busy in the best way. You'll work across a modern stack — C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, SQL Server, Azure, Azure DevOps, REST APIs, distributed services — with AI built right into how you work day to day.

What you'll be working on

Building the backend services that power our SaaS engines in C# and .NET.

Building the React and TypeScript interfaces that organizers and attendees use to manage their registrations or hotel bootings.

Building and maintaining MCP services that extend our platform's capabilities. Enabling AI agents to interact directly with Streampoint and Resiada data.

Optimizing SQL Server performance and query execution behind our platforms

Modernizing legacy components into cloud native services.

Improving observability, monitoring, reliability, and the day-to-day quality of the systems you own.

Inform and implement architecture and technical decisions on where we go next.

Who you'll work with
You will work within a highly skilled engineering team and a seasoned product manager focused on scalability, partnering closely with our product team to plan, align, and ship experiences our users love. What you build matters. No waiting in a queue behind ten layers of process.

How we actually work
We use modern AI tools in our workflows, and we adapt our toolsets as the landscape evolves. It helps us move fast and keep quality high.

A few things we believe, and that you will feel in this role. We are customer-obsessed, which, for an engineer, means mission-critical systems must be resilient so the customer experience can deliver on its promise. We act with urgency, which means we care about outcomes, not busywork. And we think big,

because our systems have to scale and we would rather build for where we are headed.

What we're looking for
Required experience

4+ or more years building commercial software products

Strong C# and .NET experience

Solid React and TypeScript experience

Solid SQL skills, including schema design and performance optimization

Experience building and consuming APIs

Experience building production SaaS systems

Nice to have

Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform

Microservices

Containerization

Application monitoring and observability platforms

Experience using AI coding assistants in real production workflows

What success looks like

You own feature development from design through production with the support of senior staff

You improve the quality and maintainability of the code you touch

You support decision making for the technical decisions and implementation

You raise the bar through code reviews and by sharing what you know with the team.

You adopt automation and the smart use of AI in workflows.

What you get
We think our benefits are some of the best in our industry, and we are happy to put them up front:

Your birthday, on us — a paid day off, plus cake to celebrate with your peers

Generous vacation policies to start, because rest matters

Quarterly team and office events to connect and celebrate wins together

Comprehensive health benefits to support you and your family

A health-minded workplace culture that genuinely prioritizes wellbeing

Where and how
This is a hybrid role based in our Etobicoke office near the airport (M9W). We've found the right balance between the flexibility of work from home and the value of being in person — Tuesdays and Thursdays are our in-office collaboration days, when the team comes together to solve problems, train one another, and tackle work that's simply better done side by side. The rest of the week, you're free to work remotely, giving you the focus and flexibility to do your best independent work.

How the process works
We keep it clear and quick, and we respect your time. Expect three steps: a short intro call with HR, a technical conversation with the team, and a final conversation with one of our co-founders.
