The role of the Production Specialist is to assist in managing the distribution workflow on a day to day basis. The role will act as a constant and approachable resource for all Warehouse Associates, offering support and guidance in all areas of fulfillment and distribution.Shift: Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10pmWorking Location: Guelph, ON - onsiteHourly Rate: $21.00/hour Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possiblePrimary Duties and Responsibilities:A solid understanding of basic tasks within production (picking, sorting, and packing) with a willingness to be cross trained in other departmentsWorking closely alongside the shift lead while collaborating with other leadership to guide workflow and achieve daily targetsComfortable balancing providing solutions to challenges and roadblocks, which enables the team to focus on duties with jumping into production and assisting when requiredCoaching and assisting with training.



Acting as an approachable resource to colleaguesMonitoring and coaching individuals to help them develop a clear understanding of procedures which will then enable them to gain confidence as they become comfortable and efficient in their tasks. Assisting with performance reviewsAn understanding of the training requirements for Production Associates, as well as an appreciation for the importance of providing encouragement and motivationA passion for developing and helping team membersAdditional responsibilities as requiredQualifications:A passion for leadership and coachingAbility to work in a quick-paced environmentFriendly and approachableProven leadership experience in a warehouse environmentExperience with Microsoft 365 is an assetAnalytical, detail oriented and highly organizedExcellent time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and writtenSelf-motivated, initiative-driven and team-orientedWorking Environment:This position is in a warehouse environment and requires extended periods of walking and standing.
