As a key player in the Canadian Critical Drug Initiative at API, you will lead microbiology operations ensuring compliance with Health Canada, FDA, and EU GMP regulations. Your expertise will support the qualification of microbiology lab systems, contamination control strategies, and performing essential microbiological testing to enhance production processes at the new Critical Medicines Production Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee microbiology lab implementation and system qualifications
• Develop environmental monitoring programs for compliance
• Conduct microbial testing and data analysis
• Mentor microbiologists in aseptic practices
• Lead qualification activities for laboratory instruments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field
• 3+ years in aseptic manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU sterile manufacturing
• Experience with microbial endotoxin testing
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
