In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs for diverse conditions including orthopedic and neurological cases. Your responsibilities will also include managing multiple patient loads and collaborating with community resources for effective discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for orthopedic, medical, and neurological patients
• Plan and implement individualized treatment programs
• Prescribe assistive devices and evaluate patient needs
• Maintain accurate records according to OT standards
• Provide clinical support to rehabilitation assistants
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Eligible for registration with COTO
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Experience in assistive device assessment is an asset
• Commitment to patient safety and interdisciplinary collaboration
