Become a Night Steward with Student Housing & Hospitality Services at McGill University’s Macdonald Campus. This role involves security surveillance, emergency response, and enforcing residence rules during evening hours.

In this full-time position from 8 PM to 4 AM, you’ll perform static security duties, ensure the safety of residents, and respond to emergencies. Effective communication in both English and French is essential, as is a strong service orientation. You will work collaboratively with the Res Life Team to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surveillance duties across university buildings
• Enforce residence rules and regulations diligently




• Respond to emergency calls and incidents swiftly
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned locations
• Ensure fire prevention equipment is in working condition

Requirements:
• Valid High School Diploma and 6 months related experience
• First Aid certification required
• Proficient in English and French
• Must have a valid Security Certification
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
