Lead the Human Resources department at Onion Lake Cree Nation as its Director. Collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer to drive HR initiatives and support organizational effectiveness.

This full time position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer. You will play a key role in strategic planning, workforce management, and compliance with federal legislation and internal policies. The Director ensures that departmental operations align with the Nation's objectives by providing guidance on projects, policies, and staff coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support CHRO in policy coordination and HR projects
• Manage staff hiring, supervision, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with Labour Law and Health regulations




• Conduct research for HR best practices and implement changes
• Supervise employee benefit administration

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
• Strong project management skills for multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills
