Lead and support regulatory compliance programs, processes, and initiatives for federal and provincial pipeline regulations
Liaise with regulatory agencies and coordinate inspections, audits, information requests, and compliance communications
Provide regulatory compliance guidance and subject matter expertise to operations, projects, business development initiatives, and special projects
Develop compliance awareness programs and provide training to leadership and frontline employees
Coordinate and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, including tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement
Support incident reporting, investigations, and emergency response activities, including Incident Command System participation as needed
Prepare compliance reports and maintain regulatory documentation
Support internal assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of related regulatory compliance, pipeline operations, or regulatory affairs experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Strong knowledge of federal and provincial pipeline regulations, CSA Z662, and applicable industry standards
Experience communicating and building relationships with regulators, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Ability to advise operational and business leaders on compliance matters and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a agile environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and present recommendations clearly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business systems
Up to 25% travel
Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
