The position includes a comprehensive extended health and dental benefits package, and enrolment in the College Pension Plan is mandatory, with employer-matched contributions.Description: The Steamfitter/Pipefitter Instructor position supports the instruction of the SkilledTrades BC program outline including all levels; foundation through apprenticeship, of the Steamfitter/Pipefitter Trade. The Pipe Trades Foundation program encompasses the learning outcomes for level 1 training in Plumber, Steamfitter/Pipefitter and Sprinklerfitter. Upon successful completion of the foundation program, students will have met the SkilledTrades BC requirements for Level 1 training in each of those trades.Qualifications: Required:Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal EndorsementMinimum Class B Gasfitter CertificateMinimum of five years of industry experience as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter journeyperson following attainment of Red Seal certificationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Demonstrated commitment to student success through a supportive,
