Insurance Accounting & Bookkeeping Clerk
Location: Richmond, BC

We are currently seeking an Insurance Accounting and Bookkeeping Clerk to join our Insurance Services team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and supporting a quick-paced business environment.
What You'll Do
Accounting & Reconciliations
- Reconcile daily insurance deposits and financial transactions
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process invoices and payments to insurance companies and vendors
- Maintain customer and insurance company billing records
- Support collections and account reconciliation activities
- Process refunds and payment requests as required
Reporting & Insurance Support
- Reconcile commission reports and financial data
- Assist with financial reporting and administrative support
What You Bring
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset
- Insurance industry experience is an asset
