Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as TOAST
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with precision
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly and keep operations running smoothly

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
