I am a single father based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, looking to hire a part-time nanny to assist me with my 9 year old boy who has Down Syndrome. He is an amazing fun, smart, and well behaved kiddo. The ideal candidate is someone who is caring, responsible, and trustworthy; having experience working with children with disabilities is a definite plus

This is a live-out position, allowing you the flexibility to work from your own home. I need someone who can help with morning routine and school drop-offs for two days of the week, every two weeks (it would equate to 4 mornings a month); the hours would be from around 0600 to 0900 when he is dropped off.

Must have a car and booster seat.

He is pretty independent but will just need someone to sit with him through breakfast (I will make it ahead of time, so it just needs to be served), and later with brushing teeth, getting ready for school,



and finishing his morning routine. I will also have his lunch all done, so part of the duties is to just make sure all items travelling with him to school are in his backpack (I have a list, it's easy stuff)

He is a great kid and I am truly a lucky parent. I want to match him with someone that will engage with him and enjoy his humour and hobbies. It is very significant that the chemistry exists between him and his care provider.
