- time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: Per 4 weeks: 12 shifts of 11.78 hours 1 shifts of 8 hours Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Mental Health Nurse Coordinator, under the direction of the Urgent Care/Matrix Management Team and as part of the interdisciplinary Urgent Care Centre (UCC) team, is to provide a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to the community mental health and addictions population seen at the UCC.

The incumbent provides program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, supervision, and provides professional and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources.
The incumbent will provide nursing leadership and clinical expertise in the development and maintenance of, community mental health and addiction treatment programs and ensure nursing practice standards are maintained.
Human Resources Exemption: No Experience 3+ years experience (last 5) in inpatient or community mental health/addictions Expert in assess.,diagnosis &treatment; of major mental health & addiction issues Education Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Other Education and Training Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Competencies Advanced
