We are a family looking for a warm, dependable nanny for our 17 month-old son.

We are hoping to find someone who can start as soon as possible on a part time basis and continue with us long-term if there is a match.

Hours

5 hours per day, 5 days a week from May 15 - June 15 , 8AM-1PM. We would like to start slowly so our son can build comfort and trust with the nanny, and then gradually increase hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- Montessori training strongly preferred — AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) or MACTE-accredited Montessori diploma
- RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator – Ontario) also welcome
- CPR / First Aid certified
- Legally able to work in Canada

Responsibilities

- Full toddler care (feeding solids/bottles, diapering, naps)
- Food preparation for the baby
- Engaging developmental play and activities
- Ensuring the baby is exposed to new environments, experiences, and activities that support both mental and physical development. Our son has recently started picking up new skills quickly, and it’s important to us that his learning and curiosity continue to grow without losing that momentum.
- Protected outings such as walks, parks, libraries,



and EarlyON centres
- Baby laundry
- Light cleaning and organizing in the home
- Tidying baby areas and play spaces

- Understands that trust is built through consistency and clear communication
- Calm, attentive, and genuinely engaged with toddlers
- Someone proactive who naturally steps in to help when something needs doing

We are looking for real support in the home, not someone who only follows a checklist. The right person will be welcomed as part of the household. If you naturally take initiative and are happy to help beyond basic baby duties when possible, that would be greatly appreciated.
