Hiring Bonus — SOUTHLAND is offering a $3,000 hiring bonus for all recent School Bus Drivers. The bonus will be paid out in three payments of $1,000 each at 3, 6, and 9 months.

Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday – no mandatory nights or weekend work
- Split shifts (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
- Additional lunch runs and charter work also available
Job Description
School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and customer service and possess superior oral and written communication skills. Routes fall between 6:30 am‑9:30 am in the morning and 2:00 pm‑6:00 pm in the afternoon.
Requirements
- Valid Class B driver’s license preferred (training provided to upgrade from a Class G)
- 3‑year driver’s abstract with a safe driving record
- Undergo and pass a Ministry‑prescribed medical examination, drug and alcohol testing, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance and reference checks
