We care deeply about our brands, our franchise partners, and the meaningful impact our work makes every day.Position OverviewTheVice President of Educationis responsible for creating and sustaining an environment of academic and professional excellence for students, franchise partners and product development staff. The role is responsible for leading the Education team across all LLI current and future brands to deliver quality curricula, and supports our Integrated Learning System (ILS), creating an effective and engaging learning experience.As a key member of the company's management committee, the Vice President of Education has a "seat at the table" and is responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of instructional programs, policies, educational outcomes, and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesLeadership and VisionLead recent program and course development (currently AOLCC, PTG, EFK).Work with the senior management when exploring and integrating the academic operations of strategic acquisitions.Manage relationships with third-party content and platform providers.Explore new partnerships with content and service providers.Represent Product Development in key communications and presentations to franchise partners.Develop Program Advisory Committee (PAC) plans; coordinate and execute the implementation of effective PAC meetings on a scheduled basis.Represent Product Development when interfacing with other LLI departments and senior management team.Provide leadership, strategic direction, and support to team(s)



conducting market research for programs and curriculum.Oversee and ensure appropriate resource and budget allocation for curriculum development projects.Develop and maintain the ILS concept for our adult education brands.Provide leadership to ensure deadlines are met.Curriculum Development and Digital LearningDevelop and manage annual curriculum and program development budget.Prepare departmental CAPEX report (salary allocation by project) each month and review and process the majority of product-related invoices from third parties.Build and communicate Product Road Map, Program Submission Grid, and Program Launch Plans.Select, negotiate and project manage curriculum development efforts with outside content creators and vendors.Ensure systematic review of programs to ensure quality and current course content.Quality AssuranceResponsible for education quality.Ensure policies and operational delivery meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of educational and regulatory partners.Analyze our education system processes and initiate continuous improvement projects, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.Research academic best practices and work with management team to implement improvements.Ensure course materials and program delivery meet or exceed both federal and provincial accessibility standards.Student SatisfactionReview course and program surveys to review course-level, program improvements and enhancements to maintain quality of programs and delivery.Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to compare academic satisfaction across franchise partner campuses and programs.Ensure that appropriate learning tools are in place to support student success.Compliance with Regulations and Program Accreditation CriteriaLead your team to proactively manage relationships with regulatory and accreditation partners.Responsible for overseeing the submission of new programs and required program renewals for various provincial ministry approvals.Responsible for overseeing the submission of program changes, revisions,



and upgrades with provincial regulators.Coordinate general compliance of the Colleges' educational practices with provincial or federal regulators and third-party accrediting bodies.Oversee accreditation efforts and the preparation of reports to various accrediting agencies in the UK and Ireland.Vendor ManagementProactively manage vendor relationships for curriculum, course content developers.Negotiate purchase agreements with various vendors.Work with vendors to ensure quality standards are upheld.Work with vendors to understand trends, best practices, and growth opportunities in the education sector.Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications & SkillsA post-graduate degree in Education, PhD preferred (or other degree with equivalent work experience in education).A minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible experience leading an academic department of a corporation, College, Private College.10+ years Management experience.Strong knowledge of online curriculum development, course design, learning pedagogies and strategies.Budget management experience.A thorough understanding of strategic planning and institutional effectiveness principles.Ability to travel overnight internationally.Please noteEducation: Post-graduate degree in Education (required)Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in an academic department of a corporation, College, Private College.Job Type: Full-Time PermanentSalary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 plus bonus, compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experienceSchedule: Monday to Friday.Work Location: Richmond Hill, ON.Recruitment processApplications will be reviewed on a rolling basis in detail by our HR team.Candidates who are contacted may be requested to complete a screening video interview using Teams.Final interviews will be scheduled in-person.The hiring process is conducted without the use of AI tools for candidate review or assessment.We will reach out directly to those candidates whose qualifications align with our needs for further consideration.LaunchLife International Inc. is an equal prospect employer.
